How can I configure the Chat REST API to support unique file attachments?

Resolution:

Given the end-user is chatting into the Contact Center on a widget that is built using the Chat REST APIs, agents now have the ability to drag & drop unique file attachments into the live chat session.
 
Currently, this functionality cannot be implemented using the Chat REST API endpoints exclusively. However, in this blog post, the Oracle CX Service COE Team outlines the implementation details for how agents and customers can send and receive file attachments during a chat session, when the chat session is invoked by Chat Rest API, with the help of Oracle Inlay Toolkit (OIT).
