Oracle B2C Service Version Update Policy
ID de respuesta 11896   |   Revisado 06/03/2024

I skipped an update. Is my application version supported?

Environment:

Oracle B2C Service

Resolution:

Oracle provides support for the newest four (4) releases (the “GA releases”) of Oracle B2C Service. With each subsequent release, the oldest GA release will be considered at its End of Life (“EOL”). This support policy is applicable for both production and test sites.

Oracle B2C Service delivers the latest product capabilities through scheduled, reoccurring updates enabling your business to provide maximum value to your customers, call center agents, and Oracle B2C Service administrators through the Auto Update Program (AUP). In the event of failure to complete the update prior to the EOL of that version, the Software Updates and End of Life policies in both the Oracle Cloud Hosting and Delivery Policies and the Oracle SaaS Public Cloud Services-Pillar Document will apply.

Agent Browser User Interface is a single version service that is regularly updated. Agent Browser User Interface is also supported for the newest four (4) releases.

Update Scheduling

  • All Oracle B2C Service version updates are scheduled by Oracle. The Oracle B2C Service support contacts will receive two separate notifications before each update begins.
  • Updates can be rescheduled or skipped using the "Manage My Update" feature in Configuration Assistant.  Please read Auto Update Program Preferences for more information on setting version update preferences.
